LAW Absolute are working with a local authority based in London who are seeking an Enforcement Litigation Officer for three months initially. The successful Enforcement Litigation Officer will be required to undertake the following duties:
- Responsible for assisting in initiating legal action leaseholders and freeholders for the recovery of both capital and revenue service charge debt.
- Provide advice to leasehold and freehold matters where enforcement/litigation concerning any breach of the terms of the lease or freehold transfer is envisaged.
- Assist the Enforcement Manager and the Senior Enforcement Officer in looking after the Council’s income stream and ensuring that the Council’s fiduciary duties are fulfilled.
- Assist with managing the council’s mortgage portfolio and mortgage related debt recovery.
You must be available on short notice as this is a locum position. The client is offering a hybrid working model. You will need to work from the council offices and attend court a minimum of 2 days per week.
