A highly respected and growing accountancy practice in Swindon is looking for a Senior Client Manager to take on a pivotal role in their Audit and Accounts team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced practice professional who thrives on building strong client relationships, mentoring junior staff, and delivering high-quality assignments across a diverse client base, including charities, not-for-profit organisations, and limited companies.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead and manage a portfolio of audit and accounts assignments, from planning through to completion
* Work with a wide range of clients: charities, not-for-profits, limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
* Manage junior team members, supporting their development and reviewing their work
* Review files ahead of RI sign-off and prepare/review draft corporation and business tax computations
* Communicate directly with clients, delivering updates and advice clearly and effectively
* Support Directors and Associates with ad hoc projects and strategic planning
* Progress towards obtaining RI status and manage your own growing portfolio
What We’re Looking For
* ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience), with a minimum of 6 years in a practice environment
* Audit experience, including managing assignments and leading client meetings
* Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and International Standards for Auditing
* Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
* Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
* Experience in the Charity/Not-for-Profit sector is advantageous (or an interest in this area)
* Experience using CCH and MyWorkPapers is beneficial but not essential
