History Teacher – Dorchester

A well-regarded and forward-thinking secondary school in Dorchester is seeking an enthusiastic History Teacher to join their Humanities department as soon as possible. The successful candidate will teach engaging and well-structured History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop strong historical understanding, analytical skills, and a genuine interest in the past.
Key Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised qualification)
* Strong subject knowledge in History and experience teaching KS3/KS4
* Confident classroom management and the ability to inspire learners
* Ability to plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students
* Flexibility and a commitment to meeting the needs of all learners
