Support Worker (Shared Houses)Kidderminster, Worcestershire (Hybrid Working)Part Time - 30 hours per weekAre you passionate about making a real difference in peoples lives?We are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join #teamcommunity, working within shared accommodation to support individuals with complex needs, including mental health challenges, substance misuse, learning disabilities, and experiences of homelessness.In this role, you will provide both emotional and practical support, helping customers to build independence, develop essential life skills, and sustain their tenancies. You will play a key part in creating safe, stable, and supportive living environments where individuals can thrive.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this varied and rewarding role, you will:Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needsDeliver intensive tenancy management, supporting customers to maintain stable accommodationAssist customers in developing life skills, such as budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and self-careSupport with rent payments, benefits applications, and managing any arrearsCarry out regular property inspections, ensuring safety standards are met and reporting repairsFacilitate one-to-one sessions and group meetings in line with support plansSupport customers to understand and maintain house rules and positive behavioursWork collaboratively with external agencies and partners to meet customer needsMaintain accurate records, including support plans, outcomes, and case notesSupport customers to move on to long-term, independent housingWhat Were Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is compassionate, resilient, and committed to supporting people to achieve positive outcomes.You will ideally have:Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapportA caring and respectful approach, with the ability to handle sensitive situationsGood organisational skills and attention to detailAn understanding of the needs of individuals with complex or multiple disadvantagesAbility to maintain confidentiality and professional boundariesFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicleIf you feel you would be the right person for this role, simply Apply Now!TPBN1_UKTJ
