We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching, particularly to children and individuals with disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement engaging dance lessons tailored to the needs of students, including those with special educational requirements.
* Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes confidence and creativity among students.
* Provide individualised attention to students, ensuring that each dancer receives the support they need to thrive.
* Collaborate with parents and caregivers to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
* Utilise effective communication skills to convey dance techniques clearly and motivate students.
* Adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles, particularly for children with disabilities.
* Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in dance education.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in teaching dance, preferably with a focus on children or individuals with special needs.
* Background in working with people with disabilities, including experience mentoring or tutoring students on the autism spectrum.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to effectively engage with students of all abilities.
* A passion for dance and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all learners.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative in lesson planning and delivery.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in dance instruction or education are desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from individuals who are eager to inspire others through the art of dance while making a meaningful impact in their lives.

Pay: £15.96-£35.76 per hour
