Management Accountant
Salary: £34,000 - £36,000
Location: Alcester
Contract: FTC / Full Time
We are delighted to be supporting a well established, purpose driven national organisation in their search for an experienced Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high performing finance team within a people focused business.
Our client operates in a fast‑paced and professional environment with a large workforce, and they are looking for someone who can bring strong analytical skills, accuracy and energy to a busy and collaborative team.
The Role:
Reporting into the senior finance team, you will take responsibility for a variety of core accounting activities, ensuring financial information is delivered with precision and within tight deadlines. You'll also partner closely with operational colleagues to help drive performance and support informed decision making.
Key Responsibilities:

o Supporting the month end process, including journal preparation and management reporting
\t\t
o Producing, reviewing and analysing management accounts to highlight performance insights
\t\t
o Assisting with financial controls, reconciliations and data accuracy
\t\t
o Working with budget holders to support financial understanding and performance management
\t\t
o Contributing to forecasting, budgeting and year end activities
\t\t
o Preparing ad‑hoc reports, analysis and commentary for internal stakeholders
\t\t
o Assisting with improvements to processes, systems and reporting efficiency
\t
\t
Skills and Experience:
\t
* Proven experience with accruals, prepayments and month end tasks
\t
* Advanced Excel skills
\t
* High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy
\t
* Ability to manage your own workload and meet tight deadlines
\t
* Studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA
