The school crossing patrol service is aimed at protecting the safety of children and young people attending school in Lancashire. This covers a very diverse range of communities and differing highway conditions. As School Crossing Patrol Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring that all activity relating to school crossing patrols in Lancashire, including liaison with third parties and internal Lancashire County Council departments, is coordinated and compliant with all relevant regulations, codes of practice and guidance. The post is a permanent full-time position (37 hours per week) based at Cuerden offices, Bamber Bridge, Preston. The role is not solely office based and the post holder will be required to attend site meetings and work flexibly. This post is designated as an essential car user role.
