Join Our Incredible Team as a Relief Support Worker
Where Every Day Brings Smiles, Laughter and Meaning
Are you looking for a role where you can truly make a difference while having fun along the way?
We’re looking for caring, compassionate and enthusiastic Relief Support Workers to join our welcoming home in Bursledon, supporting two wonderful women and two fantastic men aged 21 to 65. Each person has a learning disability, their own unique personality, and brings something special to our home.
This is a place filled with warmth, music, laughter and meaningful moments. One day you could be enjoying fresh sea air at the beach, and the next getting ready for a theatre show. No two days are ever the same, and that’s exactly how we like it.
A Home Full of Personality
Our home loves:
* Singing and dancing along to Mr Tumble and The Wiggles
* Watching football and cheering on favourite teams
* Swimming and stretching sessions
* Cosy movie nights in and exciting cinema trips out
If you enjoy being active, creative and sharing joyful moments, you’ll fit right in.
About the Role
We’re looking for Relief Support Workers to cover a mixture of day and night shifts, supporting our permanent team when needed.
In this role, you’ll:
* Provide personal care with dignity and compassion
* Support with manual handling
* Assist with hydrotherapy and swimming sessions
* Encourage independence and choice
* Help plan and enjoy community activities
* Be a consistent, positive presence in people’s lives
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
This isn’t just a job. It’s a place where you’ll feel valued, supported and appreciated.
We offer flexible hours so you can choose shifts that work around your life, a friendly and close-knit team environment where people genuinely care about one another, full training including personal care, manual handling and hydrotherapy so you feel confident from day one, ongoing professional development opportunities just like our permanent team, and rotas planned a month in advance for stability, with the option of extra shifts if you’d like them.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who brings heart, energy and reliability.
* A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
* A genuine passion for supporting people
* Confidence with personal care and manual handling, with training provided
* Flexibility to work a mixture of day and night shifts
* A commitment to high-quality, person-centred care
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who sees the joy in this work. Someone who understands that sometimes the biggest difference comes from singing along to a favourite song, sharing popcorn at the cinema, or simply being there with kindness and patience.
If you’re ready to make a positive difference and be part of a home filled with music, laughter and meaningful moments, we would absolutely love to hear from you.
Please note: A full UK manual or automatic driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential for this role.
