CLCH are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Nutritionist to join our Wandsworth Healthy Lifestyle Team.
The Wandsworth Healthy Lifestyle Team works across the borough to deliver Health4Life weight management programs to children aged 2-11 years as well as Mothers with a baby under 2 years old. The team work alongside the Health Visitors and School Nurses to provide excellent locally based care to families within the Wandsworth borough.
You will need to display excellent communication skills and be able to work in a kind and compassionate manner to deliver motivating Nutrition Education sessions. You will need to be creative in your approach in order to engage children of all ages. Mobile and agile working is a key part of the way the services operates so you will need to be comfortable travelling between venues throughout the week.

What do you need to join our team?
1. Hold a Nutrition or related Public Health degree along with registration to a relevant professional registering body in the UK (Registration with the Association for Nutrition or the British Dietetic Association)
2. Experience working with children aged 2-11years
3. An enthusiastic can do attitude

Job responsibilities
9. Communicating with patients, carers and health care professionals to ensure nutritional requirements are assessed and addressed.
10. To be responsible for undertaking basic clinical investigations following agreed protocols such as height, weight, calculating BMI and BMIz score, body composition and waist circumference.
11. To record patients anthropometric measurements and other relevant details using standard recording procedure and adhering to department standards.
12. To assist in the delivery and evaluation of a family-based healthy lifestyle programme.

13. Basic literacy, numeracy, general education
14. Hold a Nutrition or Public Health qualification along with registration with a relevant professional registering body in the UK for either nutrition or dietetics (AfN/BDA).
Desirable
15. Physical activity knowledge
16. Food hygiene certificate.
