The Role
As a Client-Side Building Surveyor, you'll play a key role in the strategic and operational management of the estate. You will be responsible for overseeing planned maintenance, refurbishment, compliance, and improvement projects across a broad range of property types. This is a varied and high-profile role with both autonomy and strong internal support, offering a mix of hands-on surveying and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver professional building surveying services across a diverse commercial estate
* Manage planned and reactive maintenance projects, refurbishments, and asset improvement schemes
* Provide technical advice on dilapidations, defect diagnosis, and compliance issues
* Liaise with consultants, contractors, internal stakeholders, and tenants
* Ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
* Support long-term estate strategy and sustainability objectives
About You
MRICS-qualified Building Surveyor (or working towards)
* Solid experience in a commercial property environment
* Strong understanding of building pathology, construction, and project delivery
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple projects
* Experience in a client-side or consultancy role highly desirable
