The Role – Project Coordinator Our client is seeking a highly organised Project Coordinator to support the delivery of refurbishment and fit-out projects. This is an office-based role supporting Project Managers with procurement, supplier coordination, cost tracking, and project documentation to ensure materials and services are delivered efficiently and on programme. Key Responsibilities Procurement & Buying * Source, negotiate and purchase materials, fixtures, fittings and subcontractor services * Obtain and evaluate quotations to ensure best value * Raise purchase orders and maintain procurement schedules * Build and expand the supply chain network * Monitor supplier performance and resolve delays or quality issues * Ensure materials meet project specifications and compliance standards Project Support & Coordination * Assist Project Managers with day-to-day coordination * Support preparation of project programmes and schedules * Track project budgets and highlight cost variances * Coordinate deliveries with site teams * Maintain accurate project documentation and records Administration & Documentation * Maintain procurement records and supplier databases * Assist with tender documentation * Compile O&M manuals and handover packs * Ensure internal documentation is compliant and up to date Compliance & Quality * Ensure procurement aligns with company policies * Support adherence to H&S and quality standards * Assist with maintaining company accreditations Candidate Requirements * Experience in a Project Coordinator, Buyer, or Procurement role within construction or fit-out * Experience supporting refurbishment or interior fit-out projects * Strong organisational and communication skills * Commercial awareness and cost control understanding * Proficient with Microsoft Office * Proactive, calm and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment The Opportunity This is an opportunity to join a structured, quality-driven fit-out contractor with a strong pipeline of secured national projects.
