Our core purpose is to improve outcomes and opportunities for the children in our community and we are looking for a committed receptionist that will support the office and provide a welcoming and friendly environment.

Salary: £10208.98 actual salary
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 8.15am-12pm
Location: St Joseph's Schools, Chichester
Interviews: Thursday 5th June 2025
Key roles and responsibilities include:
1. Answering emails and telephone calls
2. Welcoming visitors into the school ensuring school safeguarding procedures are followed
3. Assisting parents in the ordering of hot school meals
4. Assisting in the daily administration within the school office
5. First Aid
6. Assist in the organising of events such as sports day and parents evenings
7. Ensure the office is kept tidy, organised and in good order at all times, making sure there are sufficient resources available
8. Ensure that all working practices reflect the ethos and values of the school
This job description sets out the duties of the post at the time it was drawn up. The post holder may be required from time to time to undertake other duties within the school as may be reasonable expected, without changing the general character of the duties or the level of responsibility entailed. Person Specification
GCSE English and Mathematics
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
Experience
Experience of working in an office environment
First Aid at work – or willing to undertake training
