Assistant Facilities Manager (Sizewell C)

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
Overview of Responsibilities
* Support the Facilities Manager with all activities and services within the property
* Ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors, meeting Health and Safety and EDF "lifesaving" rules
* Assist with planning contractor and in‑house team work to deliver core services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, cleaning, waste disposal and catering, allocating resources efficiently
* Check that agreed work by staff or contractors is completed satisfactorily, conduct monthly cleaning standard audits and send reports to the Helpdesk
* Support delivery of a fully compliant site, upload documents to the Helpdesk and elevate non‑compliant elements to the compliance team, working with the Landlord team
* Liaise with the EDF helpdesk and wider account team to ensure priorities are met
* Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues, investigating all incidents on site
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in a similar role preferred
* IOSH Managing Safely certification
* Strong communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work without supervision
* Highly motivated
* Valid clean driving licence
* Excellent client‑facing skills
* Flexible working, may need to work outside usual office hours (evenings or weekends)
Competencies
Individual Contributor: Organised with the ability to prioritise and multi‑task.
Delivering: Ensure that maintenance is delivered in line with Imtech Inviron health and safety policies and quality procedures.
Contributing: Undertake maintenance to meet contract obligations, closing out issues in a timely manner.
Developing: Identify training gaps and liaise with the Performance Lead to ensure full training and competence.
