Nottinghamshire FA are looking for a Behaviour Improvement & Safeguarding Lead (DSO) to support the effective delivery of The FA Grassroots Football Strategy and the Nottinghamshire County FA Business Strategy, with a strong focus on safeguarding and behaviour across all levels of grassroots football.

The main purpose(s) of this Behaviour Improvement & Safeguarding Lead at The Nottinghamshire FA:
Supporting the delivery of The FA National Game Strategy andNottinghamshire FABusiness Strategy.
Managing Nottinghamshire FAs work, in line with legislation, FA policy, procedures,regulations, standards and guidance.
Managing concernsin a timely mannerandin line withFA requirements and guidance.
Significantly contributing toimplementingandmaintainingThe FAsSafeguarding 365 Standardfor County FAsand driving safer practice in grassroots football.
Leading on the implementation of The FA's Behaviour Improvement Programme by ensuring that we are tackling poor behaviour & raising standards in grassroots football across the county.
Complying withFA rules, regulations, policies,proceduresand guidance.
Were looking for a Behaviour Improvement & Safeguarding Lead with:
Relevant experience in an adult/child safeguarding and welfare field.
Knowledge ofcurrentlegislation, policyand practicerelatingtochildren andadults atrisk.
Experience of workingina designatedsafeguarding role.
Experience ofwritingreports and compiling caserelated evidenceandinformation.
Demonstratable working knowledge of inclusion, equality andantidiscrimination.
Working knowledge ofthe roles ofstatutoryagencies in safeguardingchildren and adults atrisk.
Experience of implementing policies,protocolsandguidance.
Knowledge of the structure and partner organisations within football,nationally and within the County FA locality.
A full, clean UK driving licence.
You will also be required to pass an enhanced DBS check.
This is an initial 12-month Fixed Term Contract, with the potential to become permanent. You will be working 35 hours per week, with a requirement for some occasional evening and weekend work. The salary on offer starts from £32,000 per annum.
