* Fabricate, fit, and assemble components from technical drawings.
* Operate fabrication tools and plant equipment (training/licences provided if required).
* Provide technical insight and support to the project management team.
What We’re Looking For
* Time-served or apprentice-trained Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
* Proven experience in a similar, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Strong bench fitting and machining skills.
* Sound understanding of design principles, materials, and CAD drawings.
* Skilled in problem-solving, RCA, and continuous improvement.
* Able to work independently and collaboratively, meeting tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills and a confident, professional manner with clients.
* Basic Microsoft Office skills for documentation and reporting.
Desirable but not essential:
* MEWP/Scissor Lift experience or working at height certification.
* Background in blue-chip manufacturing.
* IOSH certification.
What We Offer
* £40,000–£50,000 salary (depending on experience).
* 23 days’ holiday + bank holidays (rising to 25 after probation).
* Company pension scheme.
* Regular training, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
* Inclusive employee benefits, including free gym membership.
