We are looking to grow our Theatre department and have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Theatre Manager to join and be part of our journey of growth. Rivers Hospital is part of Ramsay Health Care UK, one of the leading providers of NHS and private patient services in England. It is based on the Herts & Essex border and is easily accessible from London and the Home Counties.
Main duties of the job
As a key member of the Senior Clinical Team, the Deputy Theatre Manager will be integral to the delivery of the hospital's strategic vision and plan. Responsibilities include line management of lead practitioners and acting as Theatre Manager in their absence.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of leading and developing high-performing teams. Reporting directly to the Theatre Manager with a dotted line to the Head of Clinical Services, you will project manage and deliver key initiatives.

Deputy Theatre Manager at Rivers Hospital, full-time - 37.5 hours/week.
We are seeking to expand our Theatre department with an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Theatre Manager to join our team. Rivers Hospital is part of Ramsay Health Care UK, a leading NHS and private healthcare provider in England, located on the Herts & Essex border, accessible from London and the Home Counties.
The role involves being a key member of the Senior Clinical Team, delivering the hospital's strategic vision. Responsibilities include line management of lead practitioners and acting as Theatre Manager in their absence.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams. Reporting directly to the Theatre Manager and with a dotted line to the Head of Clinical Services, you will project manage and implement key initiatives.
Qualifications include Professional Registration with the NMC/HCPC, leadership and management skills for effective staff control, and resource deployment competence to sustain activity levels.
