We are gaining significant traction in the NHS and are set for rapid growth.The Candidate:We are looking for a mid-senior full stack developer who is ambitious and willing to learn and develop his/her skill set in the fast-growing digital healthcare industry. They must have a keen sense of attention to detail and with good communication skills to understand customer requirements and build products efficiently in line with our business objectives, our Quality Management system, Information Security Management system policies and Clinical Safety Frameworks. The candidate will have plenty of opportunity for growth with the possibility of becoming a project/scrum lead as our team expands in the near future.The role:The primary role would involve achieving key third party integrations, ongoing maintenance of the product and developing new features and functionalities of our existing product. Experience Overview: We are seeking a skilled mid-Senior PHP Developer with expertise in HL7 (Health Level Seven), GP Connect NSDA and FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) standards to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP Full stack development and a deep understanding of healthcare data exchange protocols.Skill set required: Develop and maintain frontend and backend PHP applications to facilitate healthcare data exchange and interoperability using HL7 and FHIR standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test software solutions that meet healthcare industry standards and regulations. Integrate external systems and APIs to enable seamless data exchange and interoperability. Optimize application performance and scalability to handle large volumes of healthcare data efficiently. Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring timely resolution to maintain system reliability and availability. Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in healthcare interoperability standards and technologies. Be an Agile Scrum or Kenban development methodology practitioner.Requirements: Over 6+ years of experience in PHP development, with a focus on building scalable web applications using full-stack PHP Laravel. Illuminate ORM Framework, Composer - Build and dependent management, Monolog - Logging Framework, OAuth 2.0 and MFA Authentication services. Proficient in HL7 standards (e.g., HL7 v2.x, HL7 v3) and FHIR specifications. Experience working with healthcare information systems and electronic health records (EHR) platforms. Strong understanding of healthcare data formats and protocols, including XML, JSON, and RESTful APIs. Familiarity with database management systems, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards, such as HIPAA and GDPR.
