A leading Tier 2 contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their Bristol team, delivering major high‐rise projects as part of a long‐term regional pipeline. The Role
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for day‐to‐day site operations on a large‐scale high‐rise development. You'll ensure work is delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards, coordinating subcontractors and supporting the wider project team.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily site operations on a major high‐rise project
* Manage subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
* Maintain programme, quality, and H&S standards
* Coordinate blockwork packages and ensure sequencing is followed
* Lead site inductions, briefings, and toolbox talks
* Work closely with the Project Manager and commercial team
* Ensure compliance with Tier 1 processes and client expectations
Essential Experience
* Proven experience as a Site Manager with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor
* Strong background in high‐rise construction (residential or commercial)
* Demonstrable experience managing blockwork packages
* Excellent understanding of H&S, quality control, and programme management
* SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
