This isn’t your typical tax role.
We’re looking for a smart, driven Chartered Tax Adviser who loves digging into Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning — but also wants the freedom to shape a growing advisory offering in a way that fits their strengths and interests.
This is a unique opportunity to lead and grow the advice side of our tax department, working directly with our Tax director, clients, building a network of local IFAs, and developing efficient and scalable systems for delivering brilliant advice. What you’ll be doing:
* Leading with advice: Providing high-quality, jargon-free IHT and estate planning advice directly to clients.
* Beyond IHT: Exploring and delivering other areas of tax planning or compliance you’re passionate about — from CGT to non-resident issues to business exit planning – think what you enjoy and would like to expand into.
* Client-first: Meeting clients, building trust, and making them feel supported and understood.
* Grow the function: Designing processes, templates, and resource packs that make advisory work repeatable, scalable, and profitable.
* Build relationships: Connecting with IFAs, solicitors, and professional introducers to generate referrals and grow the practice.
* Sharpen systems: Help improve the tools, templates, and documents we use to deliver advice efficiently and consistently.
