Admin Assistant
Location: Eddie Ferguson House, Blyth. Managed by an Admin Officer and part of a team of Admin Assistants within Adult Services.
Responsibilities
* Provide clerical and typing service, maintain databases and process information.
* Undertake telephone and reception duties for multi-disciplinary teams in an environment where interruptions are common.
* Perform general office administration tasks, including filing, photocopying, petty cash handling and processing financial documentation.
* Provide relief cover for other members of the administrative team as appropriate, travelling to other sites within the locality.
* Maintain and order stationery, office equipment and other supplies as necessary.
* Undertake any other duties and responsibilities consistent with the nature, level and grade of the post.
* Meet the physical demands of the role, adhere to GDPR and Data Protection Act and be available to work outside normal working hours if required.
Qualifications
* OCR/RSA II Typing/Word Processing experience or equivalent.
* Good standard of general education.

Salary: Level 3 NCC £25,583-£25,989
Contract Type: 37 hours per week, fixed term to 31.03.2026
