Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year Requirements:
* Strong software engineering background with Front End/web technologies, primarily TypeScript, React, JavaScript
* Good knowledge of AWS
* Experience as a technical leader, capable of creating a culture of software engineering excellence
* Ability to conduct code reviews and provide coaching and mentoring
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence others and explain complex technical information
* Delivery focused with experience managing technical projects
* Commercial acumen
* Degree educated in a technical or scientific discipline, preferably Computer Science
Responsibilities:
* Remain hands-on with Front End Engineering, focusing on architecture and design
* Head up a small, cross-functional team responsible for the delivery and technical quality of all features and applications
* Guide the definition of the technical roadmap, ensuring compliance with software engineering standards for maintainability, reliability, scalability, and security
* Support the team to ensure timely delivery, manage resources, and remove blockers
* Provide training and career development paths to drive continuous improvement
