Design Engineer / CAD Engineer / Product Development Engineer
Design Engineer required to join a fabrication company based in Newton Abbot, Devon.
We have an exciting opportunity for Design Engineers to join an established company within the construction industry, who manufacture fabriction and steelwork. Due to company growth, this multi site business is looking for a Design Engineer to join their growingdesign team based in Newton Abbot, Devon.
We are looking for a background using 3D CAD (Tekla, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar), with any fabrication, steelwork, welding experience beneficial. Exposure to materials handling, bulk handling or quarry projects would be advantageous.
Package:
* £35,000 to £45,000 dependant on experience.
* Fully onsite role based in Newton Abbot, Devon

The Design Engineer role:
1. Produce 3D models and drawings using Tekla.
2. Liaise with different members of the business, including engineers, fabricators and project managers.
3. Designing fabrications used in materials handling, bulk handling or quarryprojects
4. Ensure that the designs comply with safety regulations and industry standards, as well as meeting client requirements.
