Our expanding law firm is looking for an estate planning attorney. We require a highly analytical applicant with excellent negotiation and organizational abilities who is available to work full-time/hybrid. You will prepare documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney as our estate planning attorney.
This role carries a great deal of responsibility and seeks to eliminate questions regarding how an estate should be managed. Our ideal candidate will have extensive estate planning knowledge, be a qualified attorney, and have excellent written communication abilities. Please apply if this describes you!
Compensation - $90,000 - $100,000, 401(k), benefits, and bonus
Responsibilities:
* Review estate planning documents drafted by legal paralegals for quality and accuracy.
* Work directly with clients on their estate planning needs, ensuring all questions are answered and revisions completed prior to signing.
* Revise document drafts as needed.
* Manage legal workflows efficiently.
* Collaborate with the estate planning team to ensure a superior client experience.
* Meet all deadlines for document review and client communication as per the Representation Agreement.
* Provide transparent communication and feedback to clients and team members.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
* Achieve 100% accuracy in drafting legal provisions that meet or exceed paralegals’ standards.
* Send estate planning drafts to clients within the timelines specified in the Representation Agreement, or communicate any updated timelines promptly.
Qualifications:
* Excellent communication skills, especially in stressful or emotional situations.
* At least 1-2 years of experience in estate planning and probate law at a legal firm.
* Active Member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
