HGV Technician required in Trafford Park
1. Location: Trafford Park
2. Working Hours: 4 on 4 off day shift, 6am–6pm
3. Salary: Up to £44,500 per annum
We’re recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading commercial vehicle specialists, now looking for a skilled HGV Technician to strengthen their team at their Trafford Park site.
Key Responsibilities for the HGV Technician:
4. Carry out maintenance and repair activities on a variety of commercial vehicles and trailers
5. Diagnose faults, conduct tests, and perform permanent, complete repairs
6. Complete all documentation and procedures related to warranty, contract, and retail work
7. Undertake preventative maintenance to reduce customer costs and vehicle downtime
8. Support colleagues and complete other tasks as directed by the Shift Supervisor
What We’re Looking For in a HGV Technician:
9. NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
10. Proven experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing commercial vehicles
11. Up-to-date manufacturer training and strong technical knowledge
12. Methodical and organised approach with excellent attention to detail
13. Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential)
