Security Manager Position
Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Security Manager or Local Security Management Specialist (LSMS) to manage a wide range of security services across many sites within the county.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and motivate security teams across clinical and non‑clinical staff.
* Formulate and implement security policies and advise on procedures across all sites.
* Plan and implement an agreed security strategy and advise Trust senior management on delivery.
* Manage contracts covering CCTV and access control systems, negotiate contracts, and manage the annual budget.
* Maintain relationships with internal clients, external stakeholders, and contractors.
* Identify training and development needs, and manage disciplinary issues.
* Provide competent security advice and guidance across the Trust on a wide range of issues (Stalking, Harassment, Assault, GBH, ABH, Verbal Aggression, Trespass, Criminal Damage).
* Implement the Trust's security strategy, highlight concerns, and drive resolution in a timely, efficient and collaborative manner.
Qualifications
Experience in a large, complex organization such as the NHS, with proven ability to coordinate and influence at all levels.
Strong understanding of security law and contract management.
Demonstrated leadership and strategic direction within a security context.
