Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Food Production Operative to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient production of food products in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the food industry, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and maintaining high-quality output.
The Role
* Ensure all procedures for quality, hygiene, housekeeping etc are strictly followed and issues reported.
* Ensure all quality and safety regimes are adhered to including testing, cleaning, pre-start checks etc and to ensure all documentation is completed accordingly to agreed standards.
* Carry out production in an efficient manner according to the agreed schedules.
* Work within a small team, working alongside the supervisor to produce high quality products.
* Operate and clean down machinery and equipment.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
* Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
* Walk, bend and stand for the duration of the shift.
* Some heavy lifting may be involved.
Requirements
* Previous experience within a food factory environment is essential.
* Quality conscious with an awareness of Health & Safety.
* Willingness to undertake further relevant training.
* Ability to adapt to ongoing changes in the working environment.High levels of motivation, drive and commitment.
* Good attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Be available to work from Monday – Friday. Occasional Saturday if requested and desired.
