Please note this role is fully onsite due to the nature of the role Here at Harvey Nash our client a leading financial services organisation is looking to recruit a hands-on experienced Mainframe Infrastructure Engineer. This role will see you leading a team within a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for contributing to and overseeing the implementation, and ongoing support of infrastructure technologies, ensuring they align with requirements, objectives, and architectural direction. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the team's products. Your role will be pivotal in resolving production issues and ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for customers. Im looking to speak with candidates who have the below experience: Lead and manage a technical operations team in a fast-paced environment Extensive experience of mainframe technologies such as IBM Z Series hardware, as well as IBM and Broadcom products including CA7, CICS, DB2, Connect:Direct, RACF, MQ, and WebSphere A strong understanding of the management and execution of controls Proficient with observability and monitoring tools, e.g Grafana, Splunk Operate within an Agile framework, utilising Scrum and Kanban methodologies with tools such as Jira Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, is beneficial If you would be interested in having a further chat then please send your CV to the link for shortlisting.
