Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a primary school in the Cardiff Bay area to recruit a full-time Teaching Assistant with a strong interest in Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a diverse school setting, supporting pupils from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities.
The Opportunity
This position combines classroom support with targeted ALN intervention. You will work closely with the class teacher and SEN staff to support pupils who require additional help to access learning, while also contributing to the wider classroom environment.
Your Impact
In this role, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ALN
Help implement personalised learning strategies
Support emotional wellbeing and behaviour management
Assist with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
Encourage independence and confidence in pupils
Build strong, positive relationships with learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
