The post-holder will be part of the Training team and will be responsible for training all the operational GMP needs of the manufacturing site. Production team members are responsible for manufacturing high-quality products for use in clinical trial programmes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Train operators in multiple functions undertaking GMP activities.
2. Design and create interactive training packages.
3. Deliver engaging training both in person and virtually.
4. Deliver inductions to new starters.
5. Include activities such as cell counting, flow cytometry, sterility assays, PCR, and cell culture techniques.
6. Transfer technical knowledge of new processes from the Product Development team to the Technical Operations Team via structured training.
7. Maintain a GMP training programme for all staff with annual updates.
8. Collaborate with external service providers to design or deliver relevant training.
9. Perform other duties as required, following consultation with the post holder.
10. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines provided by the Company.
11. Develop innovative training materials to engage the audience.
12. Utilize a Learning Management System for curriculum development.
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies
Experience (P - Preferred)
* Experience working in a cleanroom/aseptic environment.
* Relevant biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience.
* Experience working in a busy laboratory or commercial environment.
* Training development and delivery experience.
Qualifications
* Degree in Biological Science or related field.
* Experience in a GMP, industry, or commercial setting.
Skills/Specialist Knowledge
* Understanding of GMP regulations.
* Familiarity with biopharmaceutical and cell-based techniques.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
