Birmingham Children's Trust is seeking a dedicated Senior Social Worker to join our specialist TESS Access Team (TAP). This is a unique opportunity to shape the initial response to vulnerable children and young people, offering expert consultation and analysis to ensure appropriate support and timely intervention.
The Role : Expert Consultation and Triage
You will be the vital link at our Referral and Consultation Desk, taking the lead on the triage process for all new referrals. Your expertise will be crucial in providing immediate, high-quality advice and guidance to professionals.
Key Responsibilities :
* Triage and Consultation : Lead the consultation desk, offering expert advice and guidance to support the efficient triage and processing of all new referrals.
* Case Analysis : Provide additional consultation regarding a child's emotional wellbeing, relationships with primary carers, mental health presentations, and complex needs. Utilise social work and therapeutic practice models to develop comprehensive case analyses.
