We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our client’s team. This role will initially focus on warehouse operations and deliveries, with a structured progression pathway into Crime Scene Cleaning.
Full in-house training will be provided for all specialist cleaning duties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is hands-on, organised, and keen to develop new skills in a specialist and rewarding field.
Key Responsibilities:
13. Must be willing to travel and there will be overnight stays required.
14. Book pallet and parcel couriers and enter consignment details into courier systems (e.g. TNT)
15. Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch
16. Receive inbound deliveries, check goods, and record batch numbers
17. Store, locate, and rotate stock in line with stock control procedures
18. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
19. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the warehouse
20. Support the Business Manager with ISO certification requirements
21. Assist with regular stock counts and audits
22. Learn and safely operate pallet stackers and pump trucks
23. Assist with deliveries both on-site and off-site, including support at exhibitions when required
24. Learn the Sage system to assist with raising purchase orders, updating stock locations, and supporting the Warehouse Manager
25. Carry out any additional duties required to support the business
Crime Scene Cleaning – Training & Progression
As part of your development, you will be trained to assist with crime scene and specialist cleaning tasks, including:
26. Helping to assess sites and identify cleaning requirements
27. Following detailed instructions and procedures for specialist clean-up operations
28. Ensuring safe working practices at all times, including correct use of PPE
29. Collecting, handling, and removing materials from site in line with regulations
30. Full specialist training will be provided for this aspect of the role.
The Successful Candidate:
31. Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
32. Ability to carry out manual handling and lift items up to 20kg
33. Experience using courier software for dispatches preferred
34. Sage experience desirable but not essential
35. Pedestrian pallet stacker licence preferred (training can be provided)
36. Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
37. Willingness to learn and progress into specialist cleaning work
38. Professional, discreet, and able to follow procedures accurately
