* Previous experience working in a residential setting with young people
* Flexibility and adaptability
* Strong communication skills
* PVG scheme registration
* Full driving license (preferred)
What will you be doing?
As a Residential Childcare Worker, your day-to-day tasks will involve providing 24-hour care to vulnerable young people. You'll be responsible for ensuring their health, hygiene, and safety, and managing challenging behaviors with appropriate strategies.
* Providing 24-hour care, meeting children's health, hygiene, and safety needs.
* Managing challenging behaviors using appropriate strategies.
* Administering medication and maintaining professional standards.
* Assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and supervision of activities.
* Supporting educational needs and teaching essential life skills.
