Occupational Therapist Assistant/ Activities Coordinator
The role of an Occupational Therapist Assistant/Activities Coordinator involves supporting young people aged 12-18 with eating disorders at the Bere Clinic in Waterlooville. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to deliver structured activities, assist in planning individual and group therapeutic interventions, and build one-to-one rapport with service users to encourage participation and empower recovery.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience working with young people in healthcare or education settings
* Strong organizational and planning abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with adolescents and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
* Creativity in designing activities that are fun, therapeutic, and inclusive. Sensitivity to the challenges faced by individuals with eating disorders
* Previous experience in activity coordination, recreational therapy, or working in a Mental Health or healthcare setting is preferred
* Knowledge of eating disorder treatment principles and approaches
* The ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment

Bere Clinic is a 12-bed CAMHS service supporting young people aged 12-18 with eating disorders. It has an onsite school providing educational services while the young people are in our care and a full multidisciplinary team.
