With a strong focus on professional development, they foster an environment where continuous learning and career growth are encouraged.\n\nWith a diverse team operating in a newly refurbished office, over the last 5 years the company has transformed themselves into a company that can support clients throughout the full life cycle of their projects, from survey and design, through to engineering.\n\nJob Title: Senior Utility Surveyor\nLocation: South West\nSalary: £40-42k\nHours: Full Time – Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Midweek and weekend overtime available)\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Utility Surveyor to join our expanding rail infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting and overseeing detailed utility detection surveys, ensuring full compliance with PAS 128 standards.
You will use technologies such as Ground-Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Electromagnetic Locators (EML) to accurately locate and map underground utilities, supporting the planning and execution of rail projects.\n\nAs a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in mentoring junior surveyors, maintaining quality standards, and collaborating with engineers and project managers to integrate utility data into project planning and delivery.
