You will manage the day-to-day activities of a team that turns vast amounts of data into actionable intelligence, builds sophisticated models to detect financial crime, and delivers crucial insights to leadership. You will be at the heart of our data-driven approach, managing projects and mentoring analysts to help protect our platform, our merchants, and the financial ecosystem.
How You'll Make An Impact
* Lead & Mentor: Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team; fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
* Execute the Modelling Roadmap: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of financial crime risk models—from initial design and development through to validation, deployment, and ongoing performance monitoring.
* Deliver Insightful MI: Lead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality MI, including interactive leadership dashboards, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and performance reporting for all financial crime controls.
* Drive Technical Delivery: Act as the key bridge between the Compliance function and our Engineering and Data partners. Translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications and manage the project delivery pipeline.
* Uncover Actionable Insights: Guide your team in conducting deep-dive analyses to identify emerging financial crime trends, model vulnerabilities, and opportunities for control enhancements. Present these findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
* Uphold Governance Standards: Implement and maintain the team's model risk management and MI governance frameworks, ensuring all models and reports are supported by robust documentation and meet regulatory and audit standards.
What We’re Looking For

* You have proven experience leading projects or directly managing a technical team, with a passion for developing people.
* You possess strong hands-on skills in SQL for complex data manipulation and analysis, and high proficiency with a major BI tool like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
* You have a deep understanding of financial crime typologies (AML, Sanctions, Fraud) and the associated regulatory environment.
* You are an excellent communicator who can translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and effectively manage relationships across the business.
* You have a curious and analytical mindset with a proven ability to solve complex problems using data.
* A big plus if you have hands-on experience with Python or R for data analysis and machine learning.
