We are recruiting for an experienced Tax Manager with a focus on managing the personal tax compliance cycle. The role involves providing ad hoc advice related to the annual compliance cycle for a growing portfolio of individuals, trusts, partnerships, and LLPs across various sectors, particularly landed estates and rural businesses. The candidate is expected to support the development of junior staff through on-the-job training. There are opportunities to participate in firm-wide advisory work, committees, and presentations if desired.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage personal tax compliance services and deliver tailored advice, including inheritance and capital gains tax planning, international tax issues, and trust planning. The exact advisory mix will depend on the individual's strengths, with a significant focus on land-based issues.
* Manage your own portfolio while reviewing work of junior staff.
* Support the development of junior team members.
* Contribute to firm-wide advisory projects, committees, and presentations.

Candidate Profile:

* Positive, enthusiastic, motivated, and committed.
* Experience managing personal tax compliance and advisory services.
* Professional services background.
* Excellent organizational, prioritization, and IT skills.
* Confident communicator with colleagues, partners, and clients.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* High attention to detail and timeliness.
