Full-Time English Tutor – Secondary School (January Start)

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic English Tutor to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Enfield from January. This is an excellent opportunity for an English specialist who is passionate about raising attainment and supporting students to build confidence in literacy and communication skills.
The Role:
Deliver targeted English tuition to individuals and small groups
Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, including GCSE preparation
Work closely with classroom teachers and the SEN team to support students with additional learning needs
Help students improve reading, writing, and exam technique
Monitor progress and contribute to student support plans
The Ideal Candidate:
Strong subject knowledge in English
Experience working with secondary-aged students (school, tutoring, or intervention setting)
Confident delivering engaging and structured sessions
Patient, adaptable, and committed to student progress
Qualified teachers and experienced tutors are encouraged to apply
