Are you passionate about supporting people to live independently and thrive in their homes? We're looking for a proactive and compassionate Scheme Manager to join our team and support customers with complex needs to maintain stable housing and improve their well-being.
This opportunity will involve working at our extra care housing scheme for older people in Banbury to provide intensive housing management and support to our customers.
What you'll be doing:
* Welcome new residents and help them settle in so they can live independently.
* Provide personalised support, including creating tailored plans based on each resident's needs.
* Manage tenancies, such as keeping track of rent, handling empty properties, and arranging new lettings.
* Support resident wellbeing by encouraging involvement in activities and the wider community.
* Oversee budgets and help identify what services are needed.
* Deal with housing issues, including rent arrears, anti-social behaviour, and repairs.
What we're looking for:
* Experience working with vulnerable individuals and within a housing setting.
* A genuine passion for helping people achieve their goals.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy, varied workload.
* Confidence to work independently and make sound decisions.
* An ability to risk assess situations and recognise where additional support is required
* An understanding of safeguarding practices.
* Solid IT skills and comfort with digital tools.
