Due to continued expansion, we now require two competent Multi Skilled Engineers to join our Team.
Job Description
The Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer is responsible for driving PM activities, supporting the Engineering Team, achieving measures and supporting the engineering team reach their PM goal. This involves appropriate application of technology, whilst adhering to company policies and statutory regulations. Support AM activities through transfer of knowledge to enable task competent technical operators, restoration to basic conditions, reduction of hard to reach places and sources of contamination.
The primary focus of the PM Technician will be in the following key areas:
* Implement PM Pillar roadmap and associated activities
* Deliver Kaizens, SMPs, machine ledgers, BR completion, tag resolution
* Provide technical support for all shift resource
* Support skills development and coaching of shift resource
* Compliance, Maintenance and Improvement activities
Role Dimensions:
* PM and AM roadmaps
* Number of assets
* Number of focus machines
* Help to develop and support the maintenance strategy
* Implement PM Pillar roadmap on priority machines within HTD area
* Identify anomalies in maintenance completion levels
* Use, coach and train PM Techniques for improvement and problem solving
* Support HTD Engineering Team in prioritising and analysis of tags
* Support ongoing effectiveness and application of improvement activities
* Deliver performance improvement activities with targeted results on time
* Manage day to day PM/AM duties & activities
* Develop Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMP).
* Spares Management
* Managing Running of Cleaning
* Maintaining of Card machines (Fettling, Settings.
* Provide support to the Engineering Team when required (support with cover, holiday and absence)
Qualifications
* You must have a recognised qualification as an electrician, ie City & Guilds( or equivalent) in Mechanical Electrical Engineering this must be the 17th Edition as a minimum.
* Have experience in fault finding, repair and general maintenance of machinery, hydraulics, electrics and other production associated systems.
* Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work positively in a team environment.
* Strong health and safety knowledge.
* Competent to attempt most aspects of mechanical and electrical engineering.
* Experienced with control systems and finding potential faults.
* Able to read schematic drawings and diagnose faults quickly and accurately.
* Experienced with aspects of pneumatics and hydraulics.
