The Opportunity
We’re looking for a General Assistant (Nights) to help keep our site safe, clean, and running smoothly overnight. You’ll make sure all services like cleaning, security, and maintenance are working well, and you’ll be the first point of contact for any visitors or emergency teams.
What You'll Do:
1. Keep Things Running: Make sure cleaning, maintenance, security, and catering (if needed) are all working well and meet targets.
2. Look After Public Areas: Ensure all shared spaces are clean, tidy, and in good condition.
3. Stay Safe: Do regular fire and security checks, fix any problems quickly, and keep records.
4. Be the Go-To Person: Be the main contact for teams and partners, and stay in touch by email, phone, and post.
5. Look After Health & Safety: Carry out safety checks and make sure the site follows all rules and guidelines.
6. Stay Alert: Keep security tight and know what to do in an emergency.
7. Manage Site Access: Check people in and out of the site, making sure records are accurate and up to date.

Ideal Candidate
24. Accurate, diligent, self-motivated, focused, and reliable.
25. Previous experience in H&S and security would be desirable
26. A collaborative working spirit that enhances and builds effective working relationships both internally and externally.
27. Possess a communication style that allows positive and open dialogue with users and multi-agencies.
28. An ability to anticipate expectations and resolve issues.
29. The ability to remain calm when in pressurised situations
