Are you looking to break into the world of finance? We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Operations Assistant to join our busy billing team in Crewe. What you’ll be doing
* Supporting monthly billing processes from start to finish
* Maintaining billing records and ensuring accuracy in customer orders
* Helping to prepare billing documents and distribute invoices to clients
* Assisting in the review of data for errors or discrepancies
* Working on improvement initiatives to make billing more efficient
* Communicating with customer service and internal teams to resolve queries
* Supporting audit and compliance activities with clear, documented work
What we’re looking for
* Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
* Confident using Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas a bonus)
* A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
* Great communication skills and the ability to work well with others
* Previous admin or finance-related experience is a plus, but not essential
* Knowledge of systems like Salesforce or Affinity is helpful but not required
