As a Mechanic Tutor, you'll play a vital role in delivering engaging, hands-on lessons that introduce students to the fundamentals of motor vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnostics. You'll be working with pupils who thrive in practical environments-many of whom benefit from vocational learning outside of the traditional classroom setting. Your impact will be felt far beyond the workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, practical lessons in motor vehicle mechanics.
Develop and adapt lesson plans to suit learners of varying abilities and needs.
Inspire and engage students, helping them achieve nationally recognised qualifications.
Manage a safe and organised learning environment.
Requirements:
A strong background in mechanics or the motor vehicle industry (qualified to Level 3 or equivalent).
Experience in tutoring, training, or mentoring young people is highly desirable.
Strong classroom or group management skills.
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one).
