DoubleTree by Hilton St. Annes Manor is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Director of Sales to lead and elevate our corporate rooms, group, and meetings & events business. This is a career-defining opportunity for an ambitious sales professional ready to make a significant commercial impact within a prominent hotel environment.
The Role
As Director of Sales, you will take full ownership of the hotels sales strategy, driving revenue growth across Corporate, MICE, and Group segments. Reporting directly to the General Manager and working in partnership with Axiom Hospitality, you will lead sales performance while positioning St. Annes Manor as a preferred destination within the M4 corridor.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business acquisition across Corporate Rooms and MICE markets
Develop and implement strategic sales and activity plans
Generate high-quality weekly client appointments and business leads
Lead top account management and oversee RFP processes
Represent the hotel at networking events, workshops, and client meetings
Manage local marketing initiatives within Hilton brand guidelines
Participate in commercial reviews and owner trading meetings
Build strong industry relationships to enhance brand presence and revenue growth
About You
We are looking for a results-driven sales leader who brings:
Proven success within the MICE and hospitality sectors
Strong industry network, particularly within the UK and M4 corridor markets
Demonstrated ability to develop, convert, and retain high-value business
Experience managing LNR accounts and group business
Commercial awareness with strategic planning expertise
Hilton brand experience (desirable but not essential)
Natural confidence, leadership presence, and strong negotiation skills
