Junior BI Analyst Primary Purpose The primary purpose of your role is… Enhancing XCM’s reporting suite through evolving the current reports and creating new ones To ensure the delivery of reporting for all clients including BAU, ad hoc reports and planned reporting on their roadmap Ensuring all reports are visually impactful with a focus on being able to drive actionable insight and ROI Key Responsibilities In support of the primary purpose, key tasks will include the following: - Day to day maintenance of reporting platform and publishing new/existing reports for users Developing new reports and updating existing reports for XCM’s reporting suite Creating reports for ad hoc projects Provide support to internal and external team as and when required Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests as required Delivery of WIP reports to agreed standard Delivery of your agreed objectives Management of your personal development programme Delivery of agreed standards & discipline Management of your quarterly appraisal process & documentation Experience & Qualities Degree educated in a technical/numerate discipline (advantage) Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint Strong communication skills Knowledge of reporting / reporting design Experience of working with Power BI (advantage) Experience writing SQL queries (advantage) Attributes Eye for detail and flair for design Able to easily translate ideas into visual form Demonstrate the ambition and determination to succeed Enthusiastic and self-motivated
