About you:
* You would be an experienced Nursing Assistant (Senior Care Assistant level 3).
* Reliable and trustworthy, able to work as part of a team and independently.
* Self-motivated, forward thinker, with leadership qualities to motivate and lead a team of care assistants.
* Calm under pressure, adaptable to ad hoc situations.
* Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Main Purpose of the Job
Nursing Assistants contribute significantly to the smooth running of our homes for older people, leading social care and support for residents.
Reporting to the Home Manager, you will allocate duties to a team of Health Care Assistants, act as a role model, and promote best practices. You will also provide personal care and support residents with their nutrition, mobility, and well-being.
Following assessment and under the guidance of the Home Manager, you may undertake clinical tasks such as:
* Checking blood sugar levels
* Changing simple dressings
* PEG feeding
* Medication administration
* Basic observations
* Catheter care

Typical Shift Patterns for Day or Night Contracts
Day Shift Contracts
* 8am until 8pm
* 8am until 2pm
* 2pm until 8pm

Pay rates are £12.30 for Level 2 in health and social care and £13.30 for Level 3.
Applicants must provide two references, a DBS check (standard or enhanced depending on role), and proof of right to work in the UK.
