We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cardiac Physiologist or Clinical Scientist to join our expanding Echo team at Peterborough City Hospital, working across both acute hospital and within a brand new CDC, opening in autumn 2026. In this role, you will provide specialist expertise and leadership within a team offering diverse Physiologist‑ and Scientist‑led services.
As our service continues to grow, you’ll have the opportunity to develop alongside it in our purpose‑built Cardiology unit. This is a fantastic chance to advance your career while making a meaningful impact on patient care.
Echo service delivery using BSE standards, the post holder will be expected to grow to include complex Echo delivery and reporting, to provide training and mentorship for Physiologists and Doctors training in Echo and to take an active role in research and audit opportunities.
