ROLE: Handyperson
HOURS: 40 hours a week (Monday to Friday)
LOCATION: Bury

We're looking for a Handyperson to help keep our facilities operating smoothly by supporting engineers, escorting sub‑contractors, and carrying out essential maintenance tasks across the site.
Role Responsibilities
1. Carry out general repairs and maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and basic electrical work
2. Escort sub‑contractors around the site
3. Respond promptly to repair requests and troubleshoot issues
4. Conduct routine inspections to identify and prevent potential problems
5. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
6. Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards
Please note: Due to the nature of the contract, this role requires the successful completion of DV Clearance.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet the below requirements for the role:
7. Proven experience in general maintenance and repairs
8. Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
9. Strong problem‑solving skills and excellent attention to detail
10. Good communication and time‑management skills
11. CSCS card (desirable)
12. A valid driving licence
