Job Title: Welfare Cleaner
Job Purpose
To ensure the welfare facilities, including toilets, changing rooms, kitchens, and communal areas, are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety, creating a comfortable and safe environment for staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
* Clean and sanitize welfare facilities such as toilets, showers, canteens, break rooms, and offices.
* Replenish supplies including soap, hand towels, toilet rolls, and cleaning materials.
* Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and appropriately.
* Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required.
* Wipe down surfaces, tables, chairs, and kitchen appliances.
* Report any maintenance or safety issues to the site supervisor/manager.
* Ensure cleaning equipment and chemicals are used safely and stored securely.
* Follow site-specific cleaning schedules and company policies.
* Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Skills & Requirements
* Previous experience in cleaning or a similar role preferred but not essential.
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling (COSHH awareness desirable).
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
* Reliability and punctuality.
* Willingness to wear PPE and follow site safety procedures.
Working Conditions
* Based on construction or industrial sites, offices, or welfare facilities.
* May require flexible hours depending on site needs.
* Physical role involving standing, bending, lifting, and manual tasks.
Hours - 2 to 3 hours per day
Pay - £12.21 per hour
Start on site W/C for 12 months
