Job Title: HR Advisor
Location: Forfar (Hybrid Working Available)
Contract Type: Contract (Until 31 August 2026)
Daily Rate: £222.58 per day (Inside IR35)
Hours: 36.15 hours per week, Monday to Friday
About the Role:
One of Loriens Public Sector bodies are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful public sector work, supporting managers and employees across a range of HR matters. The role is based in Forfar, with flexibility for remote working and occasional travel to other locations within Angus.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide professional HR advice, support and guidance to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and conditions of service
* Ensure compliance with employment law and codes of practice
* Support case management including investigations, attendance, bullying and harassment, grievance, and disciplinary hearings
* Deliver HR support through both face-to-face meetings and virtual platforms (eg, Microsoft Teams)
Essential Requirements:
* Chartered Membership of CIPD
* Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
* Strong generalist HR experience, including advising managers on absence, conduct, performance, and grievance cases
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
