Synergy Personnel are looking for a talented and experienced person to join our client in Swindon, Wiltshire to make a positive impact within a growing business. Responsible for managing the design process from pre-construction through to and including the construction phase for projects up to £30m. Our Client undertakes diverse and interesting projects ranging from traditional refurbishment projects to complex new build design and build, and everything in between, with values ranging from £1m-£30m. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR, AND EXCELLENT AT: * Looking ahead and planning all aspects of the project, identifying challenges and bringing imaginative and cost-effective solutions to the table * Working within current legislation, standards and codes of practice where needed * Looking to eliminate health and safety and financial risk during construction * Keeping a good flow of quality information to ensure pace with the project timescale * Having the ability to build good solid relationships with all stakeholders and have open and clear dialogue WHAT YOU WILL BRING: * Ability to work equally well as part of a team or on your own * Ability to communicate at all levels and be understood * Commercial awareness * A broad understanding of alternative forms of procurement, to include frameworks, negotiated and 2 stage tenders EXPERIENCE * Previous experience covering similar roles * Understanding of traditional construction and D&B * Thorough understanding of CDM regulations * Knowledge of software – for example BIM and 4Projects * Design qualification considered Salary and package negotiable
